Mr. Mohammad Abdullah is the chairman and founder of Sapphire Group of Companies. He possesses wide and varied experience in Textile Business. He has been in this business for more than 50 years. He has full knowledge of internal working of Textile Mills and from time to time provides guidance to the management in running the affairs of the mill efficiently and smoothly. He has special knack in formulation of policies, future planning and selecting the right type person for the job. He widely traveled abroad and enjoys a good reputation both within and outside the country. He is the recipient of Sitara-e-Imtiaz. He is also on the Board of other group companies and philanthropy trusts.

Mr. Shahid Abdullah has been associated with the sapphire group since 1980. Being a director of various companies of Sapphire Group, responsibilities bestowed upon him enabled him to accept challenges and take decisions in critical scenarios. He has to plan and forecast for both long and short-term positions. He has actively participated in planning for the new projects and served in an excellent manner for expansion and development. He introduced new lines in the textile business in the Group like Knitting; cone Dyeing, Fabric Dyeing and finishing lines. He has attained very good experience of Textile Spinning, weaving, Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing and Power Generation. Recently Sapphire Electric Company Limited, a combined cycle, dual fuel power project, has started its commercial operations with a capacity of 225 MW. He is the Chief Executive of the Company. He has experience and is competent in business dealings, especially for procurement of plant and machinery, raw material and other Assets. He has experience in sales promotion and has successfully created goodwill for Sapphire products in local as well as in Export Markets. In addition to good knowledge and experience of production, sales and procurement, he is a good administrator and handled the administration of the group very successfully. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from Karachi.

Mr. Yousuf Abdullah is Master in Business Administration from the UK. He is Chief Executive Officer of Sapphire Finishing Mills Limited and also on the Board of other group businesses. He became Director in various companies of Sapphire Group in 1995. He has attained very good experience of Textile, Dyeing, Knitting and Finishing. He has actively participated in planning for new projects and served in an excellent manner for its implementation and expansion. He introduces new lines in the textile business. Having good experience in sales promotion, he added goodwill for sapphire products in local as well as in international markets. Presently he is working to expand in value addition textile chains / Lines. In addition to good knowledge and experience of production, sales and procurement, he is a good administrator and handled the administration of the group very successfully. 

Mr. Amer Abdullah is Master in Business Administration from USA. He joined the Group at a younger age and was appointed as Director in 1990 in various group companies. He has undertaken various expansion projects of the Textile sector and has diversified towards Dairies. Being a Director of Sapphire Group, responsibilities bestowed upon him, enabled him to accept challenges and take decisions in critical scenarios. The Textile has quite a complex dimension due to seasonal exposure and hence it requires to be out maneuvered by efficient planning. He is experienced and is competent in business dealings especially for procurement of plant and machinery, raw material and other assets. He has rich experience in sales promotion and has successfully added goodwill for sapphire products in Domestic as well as in Export Markets.

Mr. Nadeem Abdullah graduated as commerce graduate from MC Gill University Canada. He is currently the Chief Executive officer of Sapphire Textile Mills Limited and director in other group companies. He also has been director and member of Young President Organization, The Indus Entrepreneur, AISEC, India Pakistan Chief Executive Business Form, Karachi Cotton Association, Pakistan Business Council and Standard Chartered Pakistan. He has led the business growth of the organization, introduced new product lines and led the development of more value added products. He was involved hands-on with the development of the Group’s textile operations, which has provided him with an in-depth understanding of the business. He has spearheaded the diversification of the group in non- textile business Mr.Nadeem has developed expertise in multiple disciplines including sales and marketing, supply chain management, product development and management etc.

Ayesha Abdullah has completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Queen’s University. She has worked extensively in the fields of education and counselling, gaining valuable experience in student development and community engagement. Currently, she is actively involved in managing and overseeing various initiatives under the Abdullah Foundation, with a focus on social welfare, education, and community impact.

Fatema Abdullah has completed her BSc in Business from the London School of Economics and Political Science External Programme through University College Lahore. Alongside being a dedicated mother of two, she is now actively involved in supporting and paving the way for the initiatives of Abdullah Foundation. With a growing focus on social welfare and community development, she contributes towards advancing the foundation’s vision and creating meaningful impact through its various programs.

Zara Abdullah completed her higher secondary education from Lahore Grammar School. Alongside being a devoted mother, she is actively involved in supporting the initiatives of Abdullah Foundation, with a strong interest in community welfare and social development. Through her involvement, she contributes towards advancing the foundation’s vision and creating meaningful impact through its various initiatives.
